Genre: Drama

A powerful, dramatic account of the exploitation of illegal immigrants in the hothouse-based intensive farming units on the South-Eastern Spanish coast, the background against which a romantic relationship between a Spanish young woman (who has just inherited one of these units) and a Spanish man (the foreman, whose father had emigrated to Switzerland in the 1960s)struggles to survive. The film draws attention to the irony resulting from the fact that, until recently, Spain was a country of emigration.

Keywords: Spanish immigration film; North-Africans in Spain; Subsaharian Africans in Spain; Spanish emigration to Switzerland; exploitation; racist violence; romance.
