Feature film half-way between fiction and documentary, Fictional story shot in a documentary-style tone, which follows the attempts of an “illegal” young male Maghrebi immigrant to find a job and settle in Spain. Even though he is befriended and helped by a Spanish girl, with whom a romantic liaison eventually develops, he will nevertheless be caught by the police and sent back to his country. The film makes some room for the expression of Maghrebi customs, music and language, in intimate scenes in which Said shares his free time with other fellow immigrants.
