Dr Claire Monk is currently Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. She has varied interests in migrant and diasporic cinemas, particularly (but not exclusively) in the European context, in relation to British cinema, and with reference to African filmmakers.
