French-Iranian director Emily Atef's debut won't have your pulse racing; instead, it aims at subtler, and deeper hidden targets. Young Irishwoman Molly (Mairead McKinley) arrives in small town Poland to find the man with whom she had a one night stand back in Ireland; she wants to tell him that she is pregnant. But her search, punctuated by a series of encounters with locals, turns into a journey of spiritual self-discovery. This is a deft, intelligent, and sometimes moving film; if a little slow in places.
