Genre: Comedy
Language: Spanish

Celebratory take on multiculturalism in Spain. Comedy centred around the complications emerging when two brothers feel attracted by the same woman, the daughter of a Bangladeshi immigrant family who own a restaurant and live in the same street. The film touches lightly on the benefits of cross-cultural relations: the women in the Banghadeshi family progressively liberate themselves from previous restrictions imposed by the traditional patriarch; and one of the brothers converts to Islam.

Keywords: Spanish immigration film; Bangladeshi in Spain; Muslims in Spain; interracial romance; conversion to Islam; sibblings; generational tensions; female liberation.
